It is known as being the birthplace of Guinness, but Dublin is also a fantastic city to visit if you enjoy a cocktail! At the time of writing, Ireland was included in the UK's travel corridor list, so now is as good a time as any to make a trip to the Emerald Island.
Bow Lane, 17 Aungier Street
A bar that prides itself on entertainment and ensuring its customers have a great time, Bow Lane is also pretty good at craft cocktails. Get the full Irish experience with a drink called 'Just Here for the Craic', an interesting concoction of whiskey, honey, lemon, hibiscus, pepper and ginger. The extensive spirit collection lends itself to a number of classic cocktails but these are not advertised on the quirky cocktail menu.
Farrier & Draper, 59 South Street
Elegantly decorated with art works and bursts of colour, Farrier & Draper are well known for their dedication to creating excellent cocktails. On an average day you can treat yourself to a classic such as an Espresso Martini or Mojito, or something more unusual. However, it is their seasonal themed menus where things really get interesting. The bar staff are challenged to flex their creative muscles and come up with new and exciting concoctions.
Nolita, 64 South Great Georges Street
If you want to experience a little bit of fusion during your time in Ireland, this American/Italian bar is ideal! With typical Italian food offerings, this bar has a real New York vibe about it. Of course, that means the cocktails have to be spot on! The New York Porn Star is a must-have, while the rest of the menu is an incredible mix of classics and innovation.
Cafe Seine, 40 Dawson Street
If you prefer to indulge in a little French culture whilst in Ireland, then Cafe Seine will be right up your street! Everything from the decor to the food has an essence of the Parisian! The cocktail list, however, is made up of a few good traditional classics, with each one given a little twist to make it unique. Our favourite has got to be the Strawberry Negroni Sour!

Vintage Cocktail Club, 15 Crown Alley
A prohibition-style bar that requires you to ring a doorbell if you wish to enter, this is an award-winning bar that more than deserves its many accolades. While it is fairly unobtrusive outside, on the inside the bar is set over three floors, decorated in a lavish 1920s manner. The cocktail menu is long and detailed, showing an interesting cocktail progression through history.
Dublin has many sights to see that are sure to keep you busy throughout the day, but when you are in the mood for a cocktail, these bars are some of the very best that Ireland has to offer.
