Every year we have dreams of a white Christmas, but unfortunately, it doesn’t always work that way....
Christmas-Themed Bars to Bring You Yuletide Joy
Jump to
On December 5th, a special Home Alone-themed bar will open its doors to the public in Liverpool, UK. This exciting new establishment has been selling tickets to the evening events, in which guests will be treated to live music, crazy golf and a graffiti-decorated bar. The whole pop-up will be dripping with Christmas decorations, including trees and baubles, and the seating areas will be styled as comfortable living rooms, similar to those seen on the famous film. And, of course, the cocktail menu will be suitably festive and delicious.
As Christmas bars go, this one is set to be truly spectacular, enticing visitors from all over the UK. But where else can you go to enjoy adult festivities?
Miracle Christmas Cocktail Bar, Michigan
Lights, lights everywhere! Twinkling Christmas lights adorn this pop-up bar which is open only until Christmas Eve. Real fir trees line the walls and the cocktail list is not going to get you on Santa’s Nice List anytime soon! Choose from festive treats like Bad Santa and the Snowball Old Fashioned, all of which are served in Christmas mugs. We recommend ordering more than one drink at a time, however, as this is a bar well-known for its ridiculously long queues!
Sippin’ Santa’s Surf Shack, New York
New York is a pretty cold place to be in December, making this surfing-Santa themed bar even more unique. Imagine sipping delicious cocktails with Christmas names such as Nantucket Sleigh Ride, I Saw Mommy… and Chinatown Christmas in Christmas-themed glasses in a bar decorated with tropical Christmas decorations. Intrigued? Well this is not the first year the pop-up has been running, and it is getting more popular each time, with bars also popping up in New Orleans and Chicago.
Winterland, London
The City of London is celebrating the festive season with a range of igloo-styled bars. Winterland in Fulham is one such establishment, with fur-lined seats under the pretty domes. Visitors can enjoy a game of curling, mini golf, prosecco pong or ping pong while enjoying Hot Toddy cocktails and chocolate fondues. There is also an enchanted woodland and guests can even bring their own bottles on Fridays and Saturdays. The beautiful view over the famous River Thames makes this experience even more magical.
It really is the most wonderful time of the year, and these cool pop-ups bars are sure to make Christmas entertaining far more fun than your typical work-do. Tis the season to be merry, after all!
