What is it about cranberries that makes them taste so much nicer at Christmas? We can go
all year without any interest in these small red berries, but as soon as
December hits, they are the fruit of the season, pairing beautifully with
orange and anything remotely alcoholic. Here are some of our favourite
cranberry cocktails for the festive season.

Tequila Snowfall Sunrise

If you are dreaming of a white Christmas, but you really love a Tequila Sunrise, then this might be the festive cocktail for you! A few twists on the classic and you have the perfect drink to last you the whole winter season! Made with tequila, lime, orange liqueur, orange juice, pomegranate syrup, and cranberry juice, this is the cheeriest cocktail to watch the winter sunrise with!

A Very Merry Christmas

The clue is in the title of this delicious drink! If you want a very, very merry Christmas, then make up a few batches of this cocktail to enjoy! Made with Malibu, vodka,
peach schnapps, orange juice, and cranberry juice, this is a sugary sweet
addition to your cocktail menu that won’t taste alcoholic but will soon have
you dancing around the Christmas tree!

Christmas Cosmopolitan

You can’t talk cranberry juice without squeezing in a Cosmopolitan somewhere! This Christmas variation brings all the joy of your favourite classic cocktail, with a little twist that makes it perfect for the holidays. Made with vodka, gin, lime, and cranberry juice, this is a little more potent than the original, with two slices of ginger bringing that winter warming you need.

Rudolph’s Red Nose

This superbly Christmassy concoction will have you singing carols as you sip! Made with Triple Sec, orange juice, red wine, sugar syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, almond extract, and cranberry juice, it has all the right flavourings to become a festive favourite! Serve warm in a punch bowl for seasonal get-togethers. You know you’ve enjoyed a little too much when your nose matches Rudolph’s!

Poinsettia

The flower of the month is the Poinsettia, with its beautiful red blooms that brighten up any indoor space. And where you have the flower, you’ll obviously need the cocktail! Made with Champagne, Triple Sec, and cranberry, this is a sparkling drink that tastes as beautiful as its namesake. Pour into a champagne flute and garnish with an orange wheel for best results.

All of these drinks can be enhanced with a few cranberry garnishes, just to boost your
Christmas spirit and make sure you see in the New Year with very happy tidings!
