Moneyshot Martini is a bright, fruit-forward gin cocktail that borrows the “martini” name for its sleek, up-style presentation rather than a strict classic template. With sparkling wine and juice in the mix, you’ll find it sits closer to a modern, celebratory gin spritz-meets-martini hybrid—built for easy drinking and a little bit of theatre in the glass, without leaning on heavy liqueurs or creams.

On the palate, gin’s crisp botanicals cut through the soft sweetness of apple juice, keeping the drink from feeling flat or overly sugary. Champagne or prosecco lifts everything with a dry, bubbly snap, while a dash of simple syrup smooths the edges and rounds out any sharpness. A quarter lemon adds a fresh citrus squeeze that brightens the apple and makes the gin feel even cleaner, and blueberries bring a gentle berry note that plays nicely against the fruit and fizz.

You’ll enjoy this most as a party-starter: a pre-dinner pour, a brunch-friendly “something sparkling,” or a toast-worthy cocktail when you want gin but not a heavy serve. It suits anyone who likes their drinks crisp, fruity, and lightly sweet, with bubbles doing the work of keeping each sip lively.

Cocktail Colin says:

4/5

Gin leads with crisp botanicals wrapped in Champagne/prosecco fizz, while apple juice brings juicy sweetness, a dash of sugar/simple syrup rounds the edges, lemon quarter adds a bright snap, and blueberries lend a soft, jammy berry note. The bubbles lift the fruit and the lemon keeps the sugar in check, making it ideal for gin drinkers who want an easy, brunchy, fruit-forward up drink.
