Where to go for sunshine and cocktails in November
Jump to
Are you remembering those long summer days and thinking that you really didn’t appreciate them enough when they were here? Now that Autumn has well and truly arrived, it is that time of year when everyone is thinking they’d like to get away and find some sun and perhaps a cocktail or two as well.
So, we’ve taken a look at a few of the most exciting party cities in the world. To make this list, they have to be typically warm in November and they have to offer a mean cocktail!
Rio, Brazil
The warm samba air is infectious, so that you are sure to want to party all day and all night! November sits just at the end of the dry season too, so you are likely to experience perfect summer weather. When it comes to cocktails, the city is generally limited to the classics, so if you like a Mojito or a Caipirinha, you’ll be fine. If you do crave something a little out of the ordinary, however, head to Bar D’Hotel at the Marina All Suites, as they have a whole range of experimental cocktails.Ibiza, Spain
Okay, so the temperatures in Ibiza tend to drop to just below the 20s in November, but this is still far from cold – maybe just pop a few light jackets in your luggage to take with you! For your cocktails, head to Cala Bonita on the S'Estanyol beach. Here you will enjoy the most beautiful views as you sip on your tropical drinks!
Tel Aviv, Israel
While Israel might not be the first place you think of for cocktails and clubs, it actually has a very up-and-coming vibe about it. Expect temperatures in the low-to-mid 20s and a buzzing nightlife! For the best cocktail, we recommend Spicehaus for something a bit different. Dressed up like a pharmacy, the waiters will be in their safety overalls and your drinks will be served in beaker bottles. A fun place to enjoy good drinks!Bangkok, Thailand
If it is heat you are looking for, Bangkok is full of it in November! If you want to experience student-style partying, then Bangkok is definitely the place for it, but there are calmer, more sophisticated places to enjoy a drink too, if you know where to look. Havana Social is a hidden bar with a salsa theme that offers a huge cocktail list. If you can find it, you should drink there!
Punta Cana, Domincan Republic
If all else fails, when it comes to sunshine, the Caribbean is always a good idea! The Dominican Republic is a fantastic choice for sun and cocktails, with beaches and sunset views aplenty! Sip on one of the many unique and interesting drinks at the Jellyfish Beach Restaurant or stick to the classics you know and love. On a balmy Caribbean evening, they all taste amazing!
Feeling inspired? We hope this list gives you some motivation to look further afield for a good cocktail!
