The Swimming Feeling Good is a tropical twist on the standard Whiskey Sour. While whiskey and passion fruit syrup are featured heavily, we actually think it’s the vanilla syrup that ties it all together, grounding and highlighting the bright fruit and oakey rye (or bourbon, if you prefer).

FAQ's
Can I substitute the Whiskey with another type of alcohol in the Swimming Feeling Good Cocktail?
Yes, while the cocktail traditionally uses whiskey, you can substitute it with other spirits like bourbon or rye for a similar but slightly different flavor profile. Alternatively, rum or tequila could be interesting substitutions for a more drastic change.
Why is the Swimming Feeling Good Cocktail shaken and not stirred?
Shaking the cocktail ensures that all the ingredients, especially the juices and syrups, are properly mixed and chilled. Shaking also adds a bit of aeration, which can slightly change the texture and make it more refreshing.
What is the best way to serve the Swimming Feeling Good Cocktail?
This cocktail is best served cold in a standard cocktail glass. You can enhance the presentation by straining the cocktail into a chilled glass to keep it cool for longer.
What types of food pair well with the Swimming Feeling Good Cocktail?
The bright, fruity flavors of the Swimming Feeling Good Cocktail pair well with light appetizers like shrimp cocktails, ceviche, or fresh salads with citrus-based dressings. The vanilla and passion fruit notes also complement spicy dishes, as the drink's sweetness helps balance the heat.
For what occasions is the Swimming Feeling Good Cocktail most suitable?
The Swimming Feeling Good Cocktail is perfect for summer gatherings, tropical-themed parties, or any occasion where a refreshing, fruity drink is desired. It can also be a great choice for a casual evening with friends or as a unique cocktail option at a celebration.
