I was looking for a drink that uses celery bitters to great effect that wasn't a Bloody Mary, and I stumbled on this one. I would have never imagined a Celery Daiquiri would taste good, but the bright crisp flavour from the celery compliments the lime from the daiquiri very well.

FAQ's
What makes a Celery Daiquiri different from a classic Daiquiri?
The Celery Daiquiri differentiates itself from the classic Daiquiri through the addition of celery bitters, adding a unique savory profile to the cocktail's traditional sweet and sour balance created by lime juice, sugar syrup, and white rum.
Can I use a different type of rum for a Celery Daiquiri?
Yes, you can use a different type of rum for a Celery Daiquiri, though the classic choice is white rum due to its clean, light flavor which balances well with the delicate notes of celery. Using a dark or aged rum will give the cocktail a deeper, more pronounced rum flavor, possibly overwhelming the celery nuances.
What kind of food pairs well with a Celery Daiquiri?
A Celery Daiquiri, with its unique blend of sweet, sour, and savory notes, pairs well with light appetizers, seafood dishes, or salads that have a citrus dressing. The freshness of the celery bitters complements green vegetables and herbs especially well.
How can I adjust the sweetness or sourness of the Celery Daiquiri?
To adjust the sweetness, you can vary the amount of sugar syrup used; reducing it will make the cocktail less sweet. If you want to adjust the sourness, modify the amount of lime juice. Decreasing it will reduce the sourness, while increasing it will make the cocktail more tart.
Is there a non-alcoholic version of the Celery Daiquiri?
Yes, a non-alcoholic version of the Celery Daiquiri can be made by substituting the white rum with a non-alcoholic spirit or by simply omitting it altogether and increasing the volumes of the other non-alcoholic ingredients slightly to compensate. The unique celery bitters still allows for a flavor profile similar to the alcoholic version.
