FAQ's

ORIGINS_HISTORY

What is the origin of the Sake Bomb cocktail?

The Sake Bomb is believed to have originated in Asia or by expatriates living in Asia after World War II. It gained popularity as a fun and interactive way to drink sake and beer together, especially in-group settings. The name 'Sake Bomb' reflects the dramatic way of dropping sake into beer before consuming it.

PREPARATION_TECHNIQUES

How do you properly prepare a Sake Bomb?

To prepare a Sake Bomb, fill a pint glass with beer, usually lager, leaving some space at the top. Then, balance a shot glass filled with sake on the lip of the pint glass or on chopsticks strategically placed across the top of the glass. Finally, participants chant and slam the table with their fists, causing the sake to fall into the beer, after which it is consumed immediately.

OCCASION_SUITABILITY

What occasions are best suited for serving Sake Bombs?

Sake Bombs are best suited for lively, social gatherings such as parties, celebrations, and informal get-togethers with friends. The interactive nature of drinking a Sake Bomb makes it a fun choice for ice-breaking activities and spirited occasions.
