Liquid Bubblegum is a playful, dessert-leaning highball that sits firmly in the creamy liqueur cocktail family, built for colour, sweetness, and easy sipping. Rather than a drink with a well-documented origin story, it feels like a modern party-bar creation: a fun, candy-coded mix where familiar liqueurs do the heavy lifting and the name tells you exactly the mood you’re in.
You’ll find Bailey’s brings a smooth, milky richness that forms the base, while crème de banane layers in soft banana sweetness that reads instantly as confectionery. Blue curaçao adds a bright citrusy orange note and a vivid hue, sharpening the edges of the creaminess without turning it tart. A top-up of cream pushes everything further into milkshake territory, rounding the liqueurs into a thick, sweet, candy-like finish.
Serve this when you want something indulgent and unapologetically fun—think late-night celebrations, birthdays, or a “dessert in a glass” moment. It suits you if you prefer creamy, sweet drinks over spirit-forward cocktails, and it’s especially appealing when you want a colourful highball that feels more like a treat than a tipple.

Ingredients
Cocktail Colin says:
Bailey’s leads with milky cocoa richness, while banana liqueur adds soft candy fruit and blue curaçao brings a bright orange-zest sweetness, all rounded and diluted by a creamy top-up into a thick, pastel dessert sip. It works because the cream smooths the liqueurs into one cohesive, bubblegum-like sweetness, ideal for sweet-tooth drinkers and anyone who wants a low-effort, colorful after-dinner treat.
