A splash of melon liqueur introduces a refreshing melony profile, while soda water adds a fizzy component that lightens the drink. Served in a cocktail glass, the Envy Martini presents a visually appealing layered effect that is sophisticated and alluring.
Its balance of fruit flavors with a hint of coconut makes it a delightful choice for those who enjoy a sweet and vibrant cocktail experience.

FAQ's
Can I substitute anything for the Cointreau in an Envy Martini if I don't have it?
Yes, if you don't have Cointreau for an Envy Martini, you can use Triple Sec or any other orange-flavored liqueur as a substitute. These alternatives will still provide the citrusy sweetness needed to balance the flavors of the cocktail.
What are the best garnish recommendations for an Envy Martini?
A great garnish for an Envy Martini would be a thin slice of lime or a twist of orange peel to accentuate the citrus notes in the drink. Additionally, a small melon ball or a cherry can add both color and a touch of sweetness.
Why is the Envy Martini shaken and not stirred?
The Envy Martini is shaken to ensure a thorough mix of all its ingredients, especially because it contains a mix of spirits and liqueurs with different densities. Shaking also chills the drink more effectively, creating a cold and refreshing cocktail experience.
What is the ideal glassware for serving an Envy Martini?
An Envy Martini is best served in a cocktail glass. This type of glassware, often referred to as a martini glass, is iconic and suits the style and class of martini variations. The wide brim allows for easy sipping and the stem keeps your hands from warming the drink.
How does the alcohol content in an Envy Martini compare to that of a standard martini?
A standard martini typically has an alcohol content around 30-32% due to its primary components of gin (or vodka) and dry vermouth. The Envy Martini, with an alcohol content of 13.5%, is comparatively less strong because it includes mixers like soda water and a diverse selection of liqueurs, which are generally lower in alcohol content than the spirits used in a traditional martini.
