Exciting New Updates
This week has been exciting for us as we've rolled out two new great features on the site, and expanded our cocktail lists and microbadges.
We knew that our My Bar feature was limited by our current set of ingredients that we had in our database. The problem - the amount of 'we' and 'ours' in that last sentence, when it should be about 'yours' and 'theirs'. We worked hard and after last weeks My Bar search upgrade, we've rolled out a feature where logged in members can add their own ingredients right from the My Bar. Simply start searching, and if it cant find it - a simple 'add' box appears. Now YOU can control all YOUR spirits / mixers / liquers even if we don't have them yet!
We also added the ability to search by cocktail microbadges (little merits of award a cocktail can receive). Simply click on a microbadge and you'll get presented with all the cocktails that have that microbadge. For instance want to see all cocktails that have made it into Diffords Top 100 list:
http://www.makemeacocktail.com/recipes/microbadge_15/difford-top-100/
No problem!
Finally (sorry for the long post), we added a new Microbadge. The 100 cocktails to try before you die badge:
http://www.makemeacocktail.com/recipes/microbadge_16/100-cocktails-to-try-before-you-die/
that gets awarded to recipes that have been featured on the original Anvil Bar cocktail list of the same name:

Pardon the interruption
Did you know that you can become a member for free, taking your cocktail making skills up to level 11. You can save your My Bar ingredients, make tasting notes, have personalised Tried and Want to try lists and more.
