Raspberry Collins
Cocktail recipe

Rating

4.6 / 5
The Raspberry Collins is a fruity and refreshing twist on the classic Tom Collins cocktail. It is made with a base of dry gin, which gives it a strong juniper and botanical flavor. The addition of lemon juice adds a tart and tangy element, while the sugar syrup balances it out with a touch of sweetness. Fresh raspberries are muddled into the drink, providing a bright and juicy burst of flavor. A dash of orange bitters adds a subtle bitter note and a hint of citrus. For a touch of sophistication, creme de framboise, a sweet yet tart raspberry liqueur, is added to the mix. The cocktail is topped off with a splash of soda water, giving it a fizzy and effervescent quality. Overall, the Raspberry Collins is a delightful and well-rounded cocktail that highlights the natural sweetness of raspberries and the herbaceousness of gin.

I was skeptical since gin isn't my favorite, but this one truly balanced the flavors well. The tartness from the lemon and raspberries contrasted nicely with the sweetness and fizz. The orange bitters added an unexpected complexity. I might reconsider my stance on gin after this experience!

Really refreshing and zesty! The raspberries add a great twist. Just the right amount of fizz. Perfect if you love a bit of berry flavor. Easy sipping, but packs a punch.
