This recipe was first seen in 'Taste Magazine', published by BC Liquors.


To make the caramel infused vodka:
Boil water and place a 10oz can of condensed milk into water. Boil for 3 hours, adding water as necessary. Set aside ½ a bottle of vodka and add 5oz of the can of caramel to the remaining vodka. Top the infused vodka with reserved pure vodka and store for 3 days in a fridge. After three days, strain the infused vodka into an empty bottle using a coffee filter.
Once your caramel infused vodka is made you can create the cocktail. This can either be made warm or cold. To serve cold, combine all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. To serve warm, combine all the ingredients with 2ox of boiling water and stir. Once either way has been completed, rim a cocktail glass with cane sugar and cinnamon, using sugar syrup to allow the powders to stick. Strain the mixture into the glass and garnish with an orange slice.
