Cocktails are an integral part of any celebrations that revolve around the good things of life. Whether alcoholic or not, cocktails add a different kind of flavour to the mood we are in, enhancing it to a new high. Whether it is the fusion of ingredients, the final colour, or its taste, cocktails tend to be holistic in their character, making them the ultimate companion to having fun.

The sheer variety of cocktails available make them all the more fascinating. Moreover, they can be altered to suit every need and taste. However, different types of celebrations combine well with various kinds of cocktails. Over time, some of these combinations have become iconic, while others are a great way to let loose and have an enjoyable time while doing something you love.

Vacation Cocktails

Subconsciously, the first thing that comes to mind when we plan about a vacation is how we will relax and have a good time at our destination. Cocktails, it would seem, are always associated with this. Whether it’s a naughty but nice Sex on the Beach or a Mai Tai by the poolside, indulging in the perfect rum punch after a day out exploring or sipping on a heart-warming mulled wine in a Swiss chalet, there is always a beautiful concoction that accentuates the environment you are in. For those who like to experiment a little more, go for the underrated Bob Marley when lounging by the sea on a tropical island. It’s a lovely tri-coloured drink that comprises of rum, orange curacao, daiquiri and blue curacao.

Gaming Cocktails

Gaming has come a long way these past few years. Now, we don’t need to visit casinos to enjoy a round of poker, blackjack, or slots. The advancements of online casinos mean that we can have a whale of a time at home, alone or with friends while drinking cocktails and relaxing. So, as you plan to hit the online pokies, and make a pocket full of moolah from them, it’s best to have your cocktails ready in advance. Martini is, without a doubt, the most popular casino cocktail. Still, it is also good to try a few drinks that play with your palate a little bit more. Bailey’s on the Rocks, and the humble Gin and Tonic are excellent options for game nights. They are light on the head, so you can focus on making the most of the bonuses and promotions that online casinos offer, and also tasteful enough to keep you satisfied all night long.

Romantic Cocktails

When it comes to romance, wine is typically the drink of choice. There’s a charm to sipping on some vintage red while talking sweet nothings with your partner. However, it is also quite cliched, and for someone who wants to be different, there are a host of other romantic cocktails that can leave a better impression on the person you are trying to impress. Floating on Cloud Nine is a gorgeous pink coloured cocktail that consists of cream vodka and strawberry smoothie and leaves a gentle aftertaste. Similarly, Kir and Kir Royale combines the love for the wine we have and adds the aphrodisiac qualities of blackcurrant to it, making it a lot more exotic and flavourful.
