Site Widgets Ahoy

8th January 2024

Ahoy their pirate cocktail lovers and website readers. We've hope you've been having a lovely week and got to taste or imbibe some lovely concotions. If the weekend is just arriving for you, then be sure to taste you're way through some of our newer additions. However, for now I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight a cool feature that we've been silently working on on the site. A few months back we quietly launched our own Site Widgets, and over the past few months we've slowly been testing, integrating, tweaking and developing the widgets to be more and more useful for website owners. Firstly what are these 'Site Widgets' that I am talking about?
Quite simply, taken from the Site Widgets Builder page

"Why not allow users of your own website or blog, view our great cocktails straight from your site. Simply create what type of widget you want from the options on the left, then copy and paste the code generated at the bottom into your website"

Basically it allows other website owners, blog writers and developers the ability to utilise all the power of our cocktail search engine and database on their own site. From the Site Widgets page you'll notice a sleuth of options, nicely presented in simple radio buttons and tick boxes. As you choose your options we build up the code that you can paste into your website or blog to allow users search for cocktails, or be shown a cool cocktail, straight from your own site. You don't need to be a master coder or developer, the code we produce should be able to be simply copied and pasted on your own website.

You can choose from simply showing your users a one off cocktail, to giving them the ability to search for cocktails through free text entry boxes. You can choose colours, fonts, and layouts, and even choose image sizes. We've tried to make it as easy and as useful as possible for you to create your own site widget, so why not give it a go and see how it works.

We'd love to get users using the widgets, so any help please let us know through the usual channels.

Go build already!
