The energy of the bingo caller, the quest for filling your card and the thrill of getting that final number. Playing the bingo game is a lot of fun, but it’s much more than that.

The game brings the chance to get together and be face to face with friends. It’s not complicated and it has lots of positive benefits for example, socialising often in a comfortable environment enables you to relief stress. This is something everyone needs after a long week.

We love the social element along with the entertainment. The game has been around since the 16th century and there’s a reason it has endured so long.

Below we have listed some aspects that would aid you to host the best bingo girl’s night in!

Preparation

First decide whose home the bingo night will happen in. If the kids are with their grandparents, or one lady has a bigger house, this could be a good choice.

Order some ticket packs online or get creative and make some! Make sure there are plenty of highlighter pens or markers to cross out the numbers.

Shop for snacks. If you’re having a bingo night, you don’t have to have a sit-down meal first.

Crisps, or a cheese board with crackers will be fine.

You could add some olives, flatbread and dips to make it a more sophisticated affair.

Choose some cocktails!

It’s a girl’s night in, which means cocktails should be on the menu. There’s nothing better than saying cheers with some fruity or creative concoctions!

It will also ease along proceedings and amplify the calling – especially after the caller has had one or two. See how dramatic your friend’s get after a drink or two?

Everyone can contribute a prize. These can be fun items or items of value, depending on your group. You could charge a small entry fee and then the winnings are divided.

Move the host around, so everyone gets a part of the action.

Bingo is popular for ladies on and offline

Nothing beats a game of bingo for women.

Bingo has been a favoured choice for women for a long time. Its popularity spread throughout the UK and by the 1960s it was the main choice for a girl’s night out.

It doesn’t have the social pressure of a dance and was particularly good for married ladies. They could deflect unwanted attention and have the chance to sit with each other, laugh and chat.

There are still over 500 bingo halls in the UK, and recently it has seen a boost again.

Now, bingo is mostly played online. With the advent of cheap WiFi, people can play a game on their phone in the living room.

It’s a chance for some time out and doesn’t require huge amounts of brain power. After a long day, that can be just the ticket to get some downtime.

In fact, around 62% of bingo players on Costa bingo and other sites are women. They have been the reason it’s so successful online.

Why bingo is a good choice for a girl’s night in?

If you’ve been planning to get the ladies together and are stuck for a game, choose bingo! Why?

  • Most people have probably played before
  • No difficult rules to remember
  • It’s easy to set up

No one has to dress up for the night, which takes a lot of pressure off. Of course, if people want to, that’s okay too!

Of course, if you want it totally hassle-free, you could all play online, but together! This means you could pick up special promotions and free bonuses, making it totally win-win!
