Layered cocktails
Every cocktail tagged Layered on Make Me a Cocktail.
Layered cocktails are all about visual separation and the order you pour in, so the drink changes as much in appearance as it does in flavour. The B52 is the neatest example, with its liqueurs stacked into clear bands, while the Tequila Sunrise shows how layering can create a gradient effect without getting fussy.
In this list you can compare base spirit, strength, format, technique and flavour direction, from playful shots to longer, fruitier serves. There are 168 cocktails here, so it is easy to narrow the field down to the style you actually want to make.
