Brand partners
Own the moment someone chooses what to pour. Make Me a Cocktail is the cocktail platform people open with a recipe in front of them and a drink in mind. Founded in 2010 and based in the UK, we serve 3,000+ recipes worldwide across web, iOS and Android.
Our recipes call for generic ingredients — “vodka”, “orange liqueur”, “aged rum” — never a brand. A brand partnership fills that space with exclusive category placement: your brand appears at the decision point, as the recommended choice for your ingredient, across every cocktail that uses it.
Your category. Your default pour.
For the partnership term, your brand is the recommended choice wherever someone is looking for your ingredient in the agreed markets. We do not split that category between competing partners.
One partner per category. Every compatible recipe. One clear recommendation.
Reach at a glance
Over three months: 910,000 page views, half a million recipe reads, and over a minute of focused attention on each one. This isn't passive reach. It's an audience actively deciding what to drink next.
Audience and markets
Our audience is global, with the United States as our largest market and strong secondary reach across the UK, Canada, Australia and Western Europe. Most partners take global coverage to maximise impact, but we can tailor placements market by market for brands with regional priorities.

Five placements. One owned category.
Your brand shows up at every step of the decision, from finding a cocktail to reading the recipe to stocking the bar. One partner per category, and every placement points to your bottle, on web and in our iOS and Android apps.
Examples below are from our Catedral Mezcal partnership.
In recipe
Your brand, named in the recipe.
On every cocktail that uses your ingredient, your brand is the recommended pour in the ingredient list. Directly underneath sits a partner panel with your logo, a Shop button and a link to your brand page.
For a category spirit, that means hundreds of recipe pages working for you at once, right as someone is about to pour.
- Recommended pour in the ingredient list
- Partner panel with logo, Shop and View brand
- Hundreds of recipe placements per category brand
- On web and in the iOS and Android apps
Results pages
First in line when someone browses your ingredient.
When someone browses cocktails made with your ingredient, a recommended-brand banner sits at the top of the results with your logo and a direct Shop link.
Your own branded results page lists every cocktail you can make with your bottle, with the same banner and your signature serves first. Point your marketing, social and retailer activity straight at it.
- Banner on every results page for your ingredient
- Direct Shop link
- A branded results page for your own campaigns

My Bar
The moment someone stocks their bar.
My Bar is where people record the bottles they own and see every cocktail they can make. When someone adds your ingredient, we suggest your brand as the recommended bottle, with one tap to add it to their bar or shop it.
It is the clearest signal of buying intent on the platform: someone telling us what they keep at home.
- Suggestion at the moment of stocking
- One tap to add your bottle, or Shop
- Shown once per category per session, so it never nags
- On web and in the iOS and Android apps
Straight after someone adds Mezcal
Signature serves
Your cocktails, front and centre.
Send us your signature serves and we publish them as full recipes on Make Me a Cocktail, with your imagery.
For the partnership term they carry a Signature Serve badge and lead your brand page and your branded results page, ahead of everything else.
- Your recipes published with your imagery
- Signature Serve badge
- Pinned first on your brand page and results
- Views for each serve in your partner report
Dedicated brand page
A home for your brand on Make Me a Cocktail.
Every partner gets a dedicated brand page with your story, your buy links and a collection of cocktails led by your signature serves. Your logo also appears under “brands we work with” on the ingredient hub for your ingredient.
These pages are indexed by Google and keep driving discovery long after the campaign starts. A permanent storefront, not a temporary banner.
- Branded page with buy links
- Cocktail collection led by your signature serves
- Your logo on the category hub
- Indexed and ranking on Google

We measure behaviour. We do not promise a fixed number of bottle sales.
Why this works
Spirits brands spend millions interrupting people. We do the opposite — your brand shows up when the decision is already being made. Someone has a recipe open and a glass in hand; they're not browsing, they're choosing what to pour.
The average display ad gets ignored — industry click-through sits around 0.05%. Our recipe pages hold attention for over a minute, because the user came looking for a recipe and is reading every word. You're not paying for impressions on a half-distracted audience; you're paying for placement at the exact moment someone decides what to make next.
We meet users with the recipe open, not on a feed they're skimming past.
Focused attention on every recipe — every impression is a high-value one.
The user is about to need the bottle — your brand is the answer in front of them.
App recipe requests in the last three months
15 Jul to 14 Oct 2026. Updated daily, using completed days. Records available through 14 Oct 2026.
Figures cover published recipes on iOS and Android, including repeat requests. Cached and offline app openings are not counted. Website views are measured separately and appear in the reach figures above.
It compounds — you're building presence, not renting attention
A category spirit like vodka, gin, rum, tequila or whiskey appears across hundreds of cocktails on the platform. Every one of those becomes a placement, and users meet your brand repeatedly across the recipes they explore — consistent visibility builds preference.
Unlike traditional ad spend, none of this disappears when the campaign ends. Your ingredient page keeps ranking in Google, your in-recipe placements stay indexed, and with a Domain Rating of 46 the platform drives long-tail organic discovery for you well beyond the initial term.
Plus a slot in the Ingredient Deep Dive
Every three-month partner gets a sponsored placement in our weekly Ingredient Deep Dive newsletter, sent to 120,000 subscribers who opted in for exactly this kind of content. Readers arrive in the same decision-making mindset that powers the website, and it consistently outperforms standard display advertising.
Just want to claim your brand page?
You don't need a full partnership to get on the platform. Any brand owner can claim their brand page and add their own description, imagery, flavour profile, strength, origin and history — plus a do-follow, non-sponsored website link back to your own site. See the Bacardi White Rum page as an example.
Thanks to our ingredient categorisation and substitution algorithm, your brand automatically shows which cocktails can be made with it, plus a results page specific to your brand — no need to send us a list of recipes first.
There's a small charge to create a brand page. To check whether we already have a page for you, head to the ingredient page and start typing your brand name — or get in touch and we'll tell you more.
Make Me a Cocktail has been used by home bartenders since 2010 and is regularly referenced by drinks media and industry professionals.
Let's tailor this to your brand
We work with brands from craft to international. The right partnership depends on your category, priority markets, hero product and commercial goals. We can tailor coverage market by market, or give your brand global category ownership.
Walk through the full deck, or book twenty minutes on a call and we'll show how this works specifically for you. We can also mock up placements on your hero cocktails first.
