Pear-Rosemary Twist is a modern, pitcher-style vodka cooler that leans into orchard fruit and garden herb freshness rather than cocktail lore. You’ll find it sits comfortably in the same easy-drinking family as vodka-tonic serves, but with a more deliberate, seasonal feel thanks to pear and rosemary. It’s the kind of crowd-pleaser that fits contemporary entertaining: simple, bright, and built for sharing.
On the palate, vodka keeps the base clean and neutral, letting pear nectar take the lead with soft, rounded sweetness. Simple syrup deepens that sweetness and smooths the edges, while tonic water brings a crisp, lightly bitter sparkle that stops the fruit from feeling heavy. Fresh pear reinforces the nectar’s ripe character, and rosemary sprigs add a firm, aromatic lift that cuts through the sugar and plays especially well against the tonic’s bite.
Serve it in a pitcher when you want something refreshing that still feels a little elevated—brunch tables, garden get-togethers, or early-evening aperitifs. You’ll like it if you enjoy fruit-forward drinks with a clean finish, and it’s ideal for guests who want a lighter, bubbly sip without losing flavour.

Ingredients
Cocktail Colin says:
Vodka and tonic water set a crisp, lightly bitter base that’s softened by pear nectar, fresh pear, and simple syrup, while rosemary sprigs add a piney, savory lift that keeps the fruit from feeling flat. It works because the tonic’s bite and rosemary’s herbal edge cut through the syrupy sweetness and ripe pear, making it ideal for pitcher drinkers who want a clean, aromatic cooler.
