Hornitos Plata

Hornitos Plata is a crisp, unaged tequila that honors the purity of its 100% blue Weber agave roots. Born in the heart of Jalisco, Mexico, this plata (silver) expression is part of a legacy started by Don Francisco Javier Sauza in 1950. A bold move at the time, Hornitos Plata was among the first tequilas to be made without aging in wood, setting the standard for clean and vibrant agave flavor.

This double-distilled tequila showcases a lively balance of herbal, citrus, and pepper notes. The nose is fresh and floral with a hint of lime zest. On the palate, it delivers a bright agave core supported by grassy and mineral undertones, finishing with a dry, peppery snap. It’s smooth enough for sipping neat, yet robust enough to stand out in cocktails like a Margarita, Ranch Water, or Tequila Sunrise.
