Are you going to watch a football match and place bets on non-GamStop betting sites, or just meet friends and have a barbecue? Do you wonder what delicious cocktails to make for those occasions? Well, in this article, we will share with you 11 easy cocktail recipes, and their main ingredient is vodka. You will not need to spend much time preparing these drinks but purchase in advance all ingredients.
1.Mule
You need:
50 ml vodka
200 g crushed ice
10 ml ginger beer
2–3 ginger slices
Lime wedge
Mint sprig
How to make:
Pour the vodka into a copper mug or metal cup.
Then, fill ¾ of the cup with crushed ice and add ginger beer. Gently stir.
It's not necessary, but you can add lime and mint for more flavor.
2.Apple Martini
You need:
50 ml vodka;
50 ml apple juice with pulp;
1 teaspoon lemon juice;
1 teaspoon maple syrup;
100 g crushed ice;
a slice of apple.
How to make:
Pour the vodka, all the juices, and maple syrup into a shaker.
Add ice and shake again.
Pour into a martini glass.
Then add an apple slice.
3.Bloody Mary
The cocktail was born in Paris, in the famous Harry's New York Bar, where in 1921 bartender Ferdinand Petioux, or simply Pete, decided to mix vodka with the American novelty of those years - packaged tomato juice. In 1933, Pete moved to New York, stood behind the counter of the King Cole Bar in the St. Regis Hotel and presented his know-how to the boss - co-owner of the hotel Serge Obolensky. However, the taste of vodka with juice seemed too flat to him, and he added lemon juice, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. And to prepare these cocktails you’ll need.
You need:
200 g ice cubes
125 ml tomato juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
50 ml vodka
25 ml sherry
¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
A pinch of salt
Black pepper to taste
A few fennel seeds
Celery stalk
Lemon wedge
Cherry tomato for garnish
How to make:
Place a handful of ice in a shaker. Pour in tomato and lemon juice, vodka and sherry. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and fennel.
Mix everything thoroughly.
Pour the liquid into a tall glass.
Garnish with a celery stalk, lemon wedge and cherry tomato.
4.Cosmopolitan
The Cosmopolitan cocktail was first made in the first half of the 20th century. Moreover, it included both orange liqueur and juice, albeit not lime, but lemon. The red color was brought by raspberry syrup, and the base was gin.
Then the recipe was safely forgotten for about twenty years. And already in the 1970s, the next version of the old cocktail suddenly surfaced in Massachusetts - with vodka and cranberry juice (it is no coincidence that the Ocean Spray company, the largest producer of packaged cranberry juice, is located in this state).
You need:
50 ml citrus vodka;
1 tablespoon orange liqueur;
1 tablespoon lime juice;
50 ml cranberry juice;
200 g ice cubes;
orange zest.
How to make:
Pour vodka, orange liqueur, lime and cranberry juice into a shaker. Add ice and stir. Strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with orange zest.
5.Caipiroska
You need:
1 lime
2 teaspoons brown sugar
150 g crushed ice
50 ml vodka
How to make:
Cut the lime into wedges and place them in a thick glass.

6.Mudslide
You need:
30 ml vodka
30 ml coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlua)
30 ml Irish cream liqueur (e.g., Baileys)
30 ml heavy cream or milk
Ice cubes
Optional garnish: chocolate syrup and whipped cream.
How to make:
Drizzle chocolate syrup inside the glass. You can also rim the glass with chocolate syrup or cocoa powder.
Combine vodka, coffee liqueur, Irish cream, and heavy cream (or milk) into a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice cubes. Shake well for about 10-15 seconds until all the ingredients are well mixed.
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
7.Lemon Drop
You need:
½ lemon;
1 tablespoon sugar;
50 ml vodka;
25 ml triple sec liqueur;
150 g ice cubes.
How to make:
Place a martini glass in the freezer for a few minutes. The glass should be cold. Squeeze the lemon into a container, add sugar and stir.
Pour vodka into a shaker, add liqueur, lemon juice with sugar and ice. Shake until cool.
Strain into a glass.
8.Sex on the Beach
It was first mixed in the USA, where it was considered an elite drink. The cocktail was served in the best houses in America to emphasize the high social status of the owners. The original name of the popular long drink sounded like "Sand in Shorts", then it was changed to "Fun on the Beach". The alcoholic mix received its modern name later, when the so-called "sexual revolution" happened, and the word sex no longer shocked anyone.
You need:
40 ml vodka
20 ml peach schnapps
40 ml cranberry juice
40 ml orange juice
Ice cubes
Orange slice and maraschino cherry (optional)
How to make:
Fill a highball or hurricane glass with ice cubes.
Pour vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry juice, and orange juice into the glass. Gently stir to mix the ingredients.
For a more well-blended drink, you can pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, shake, and then pour back into the glass over ice.
If you want you can garnish cocktail with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
9.Sea Breeze
You need:
180 g ice cubes;
50 ml vodka;
100 ml cranberry juice;
50 ml grapefruit juice;
lime.
How to make:
Fill a tall glass with ice, pour in vodka, cranberry and grapefruit juice. Stir gently.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
10.Harvey Wallbanger
You need:
Ice
45 ml vodka
15 ml Galliano L'Autentico liqueur
90 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
Orange and a maraschino cherry
How to make:
Prepare a highball glass with ice cubes.
Pour vodka and orange juice into the glass and stir gently.
Slowly pour Galliano liqueur over the top of the drink. The liqueur will float slightly.
Add an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
You can experiment and create your own cocktails. Here is a lifehack that will come in handy for experiments in the kitchen. Berry and fruit syrups can add piquant notes to strong alcohol, such as vodka or gin. Original spicy or chocolate additives go well with rum and vodka too.
And remember, don't mix different types of alcohol. It's best to choose one familiar drink that you'll drink throughout the evening. And it's not that mixing different types of alcohol speeds up intoxication - that's a myth. It's just that the drinks you start with set a certain pace.
